You see these little images everywhere, on most sites that use AJAX, and in some new software (including some linux distros). The little circle of dots or lines running in a circle, or the gradient snake chasing its tale. I needed one for hecticrss and found this awesome site which makes them for you. Chuck in a couple colours, pick a style and it does the rest. Even if you don't need one, just have a play around, its awesome. http://www.ajaxload.info

Its up and working, works pretty good, with proper support for Podcasts and stuff. Have a go.

I've posted up a first copy of what i think the reader on hecticrss will look like. It works pretty sweet, its all AJAX and it automatically updates. Only thing i dont like is if you scroll down the list of items and click one, you lose ur scroll position and it goes back to the top. I haven't found a nice enough solution yet. take a look, i've even put some links on there so u can try it out without too much effort.

I've just finished the feed reader that will be used for hecticrss.com, it can read anything! RSS, RDF, Atom, and Podcasts. Have a go and see if you can break it.

I feel like I've just been dumped by email! I was testing out my new email address for hecticrss.com, obviously its not working yet, but I didn't think it would be so emotional...

I just bought hecticrss.com ! Thought it was a pretty cool name, cost me $10 for the name and 2 months hosting, but i get $20 of google adwords credit, which i can use for checkmyfeeds. Not sure what i'll do with it yet... maybe a similar rss site, or just put it up for sale. There's nothing on there yet, have a look in a while, i'll probably just redirect it to checkmyfeeds for now.

This thing is awesome, very clever. Go Here, type in what u want to spell, and it grabs images from Flickr and puts it together. You can get the html from the site, or just a little javascript badge to put it anywhere.

Haven't seen anything like this before, its pretty cool.
